I currently have no schedules when opening commissions. I can still accept work privately even if my status says "closed" so please contact me if you are interested and I may consider taking your request!

I've been drawing since I was a kid, and I started digital art around late 2009 when I found out that people can do that with this thing called an art tablet....✿ Why do you go by two names? What can we call you?.
Basically I used 'Mae' for my art username (and as my online name for a while), but eventually went back to 'Janelle' as my display name... They're both my real names, both are OK to call me by!!.✿ About your artist name....
'MaeSketch' is self-explanatory...
'Harmonia' is one I've been using for a long time in fictional settings, so I decided to use it with my artist name going forward! It's based off N's full name from Pokemon haha.✿ Favorite artists?.
My art style has been greatly influenced by Kazuya Nuri and Yana Toboso. They are my artist idols!!

Terms of service subject to change without notice. By commissioning me, you agree to have understood and accepted the conditions listed below, as well as the Commission Info found here. Please read this entirely and carefully.

GENERAL DISCLAIMER

I reserve the right to refuse a commission or a client for any reason.
Commissions will be drawn in my art style only.
Commissions are considered digital goods/art ━ there will be no physical items included or to be shipped to the client.
I am not interested in NFTs ━ You are not authorized to use my art for minting NFTs or AI training.

COMMISSIONS USAGE

Commissions by default are for personal use only. For commercial inquiries, please contact me.
Personal use includes profile pictures, banners, PC or phone wallpapers, own prints and stickers.
Personal commissions may NOT be printed or reproduced to be sold as merchandise.
You may not edit or trace my artwork without my permission.
You may not crop, cover, or edit out my signature without my permission.
As the artist, I reserve the right to use your commission for my portfolio. If you wish to keep your commissions private, you must let me know when filling out the form.

PRICES & PAYMENT

Prices listed are base prices and the overall amount may increase depending on the complexity and additional factors.
Prices and PayPal invoices will be in GBP (£ ━ Great British Pounds) currency.
Payment will be through PayPal invoice only, except for VGen commissions which are done through their own system. I'm not accepting other payment options at this time.
Do NOT make advanced payments for commissions without my knowledge or approval!
Payment must only be done via the invoice I will send you, or through VGen.
50% or 100% payment is required before I start the commission. The remaining 50% needs to be paid before I send the finished, non-watermarked illustration.
Payment must be done within 3 days of sending the invoice. If I don't receive the payment by then, I may have to move you to the Waiting List, or cancel the commission completely and free up the slot for someone else.

REFUNDS

I will only do a full refund if I have not yet started your commission for any reason.
No refunds once I have started sketching your commission.
No refunds once I have sent you the finished commission.
I will only refund you if for any reason during the work in progress I am unable to finish or continue the commission. 50% of the amount will be refunded if it was paid upfront (100%). For half-and-half payments, I will not charge the remaining 50%.
You are NOT authorized to file a chargeback for any reason.

PROCESS & QUEUE

You are expected to fill out the form linked in my commission page when sending a request.
I will then contact you confirming your order and discuss payment and other details if needed. Please allow me 1 to 3 days to respond to your initial request!
This is not a first come, first serve basis. Submitting a form does not mean you get a slot.
I generally work on commissions in no specific order, but I may also work on them simultaneously.
The time I take to finish a commission depends on various things (revisions, complexity, response time, life). The minimum time I can give is about 2 weeks, but for larger projects it may take at least a month.
I will notify you if I can't work on your commission at a certain time or if there is a delay.
If there is a deadline, you must make it clear when filling up the form.
I may not accept your commission if the deadline is too soon or if I think I won't be able to finish it in time.
You may ask me for updates or to show WIPs (Work in Progress), but please do not rush me, especially if you did not specify a deadline!

REVISIONS

Sketch revisions are free for the first five (5) requests/updates. Any edits after that will cost from 5 to 25 GBP per request depending on the details. This applies only to sketches.
I may decide to restart a whole sketch if I deem it necessary (with no charge), but asking me for a new one will have an additional fee of 50% of your commission's base price.
Approving a sketch means you are satisfied with the poses, details, and overall look of the illustration.
I will not accept requests for major revisions after the sketch has been approved.
New details will not be added in if they were not in the form or discussed before the sketch was approved.
The only changes I will do after the sketch has been approved are edits related to colors, and small details ━ anything that don't require me to redo the full draft. These will not have additional costs.
If at any stage there were missed details due to my own faults, kindly let me know and they will be corrected with no additional costs and will not count towards the free revisions.

FINAL ARTWORK

Finished commissions will be sent to your e-mail as an attachment, via link to a Google Drive file, or on Discord if preferred.
My signature will be added on the commission by default.
I am not required to post your commission or anything related to your project on my social media.
You are expected to save a copy of your commissioned illustration once I've sent them to you. If there are any problems with accessing the file, you must let me know as soon as possible.

BGs = Backgrounds
1. Only applies to Portrait Type commissions.
2. Applies to characters and backgrounds. Refer to image below for samples on characters.
3. This only applies if you don't have other stylized references ready. If you do, please provide those instead!
4. Minimum of 25% of final price. It may increase depending on the project and the deadline.

Notes

Canvas size starts at A4 (2480 x 3508 px) at 300dpi ━ it may change to fit characters and other elements. Final image will be in .jpg or .png format.
Up to two (2) characters per illustration only (meaning one [1] extra character only).
My signature will be on the finished commissions by default.

How to order

Read my Terms of Service.
DM or e-mail me about your commission request by using this form (if e-mailing, please include "Commission" on the subject title).
Wait for me to contact you. It may take 1 to 5 days before I can respond to your request.
If I accepted your request, I will send you a message and may ask for more details if needed, along with the total price of the commission.
Once details are sorted, I will send you the invoice.
After I receive the payment, I will start the commission!
